Job Description
Koniag Professional Services is seeking a Program Manager to support KPS and our government customer in the DC Metro area. The Program Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of contract operational support functions, managing multiple complex and inter-related project tasks, and leading teams of contractor personnel across multiple locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in program management, project management, or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Must possess two (2) years of task leader experience managing a group of engineers and the full ADP life cycle in software engineering.
- Level III (CR03) experience, typically overseeing all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects.
- Proven program and project management skills, including proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex project challenges and create innovative solutions.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to program management, project management, and software engineering.
- Familiarity with applications systems analysis, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities for necessary support resources.
