Training Specialist / Instructional Designer

Koniag IT Systems, LLC is seeking a Training Specialist / Instructional Designer with a TS/SCI security clearance to support KITS and our government customer at Langley Air Force Base, VA. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of instructional design and Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) delivery in federal or DoD environments, with experience administering Learning Management Systems in Government environments and a proven track record developing enterprise-scale training programs serving geographically dispersed audiences.

Requirements

• 4+ years of instructional design and Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) delivery in federal or DoD environments
• Proven track record developing enterprise-scale training programs serving geographically dispersed audiences
• Experience administering Learning Management Systems in Government environments
• Background supporting AI, data, or emerging technology training programs preferred
• ADDIE methodology proficiency – Required
• LMS administration experience with DAF365, Cornerstone, Blackboard, or equivalent Government-approved platforms – Required
• Train-the-Trainer facilitation experience – Required
• CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8140.03 baseline) – Required
• Expert proficiency with instructional design tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and competency-based training design
• Experience developing training for multiple classification levels (unclassified, Secret, TS/SCI)
• Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, and LMS integration standards
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and collaboration platforms
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (Section 508 compliance) for digital learning content
