Job Description
Kooth is seeking a Substance Use Disorder Counselor (Bilingual Preferred) to provide on-platform virtual behavioral health care to adolescents and young adults. The Practitioner will help individuals develop achievable and measurable goals to monitor success and motivate behavioral change. The role involves providing structured Wellness Coaching, Single Session Wellness Coaching, and moderation of submitted content.
Requirements
- Valid SUD Counselor certification in the state of California
- CA state certification: Substance Use Disorder Certified Counselor (SUDCC)
- CA state certification: Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor (CATC)
- CA state certification: Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC Levels I-III)
- CA state certification: Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LAADC)
- National certification: National Certified Addiction Counselor, Levels I and II (NACA)
- Master Addictions Counselor (MAC)
- Minimum education: GED/High School diploma
- Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with substance use–related behavioral change
- Permanently reside within the 48 contiguous United States
- Crisis support experience preferred
