Controls Engineer II

Körber is seeking a Controls Engineer II to develop control system designs, deploy and commission PLC code, and create graphical user interfaces for material handling systems. The role requires experience with Rockwell Automation PLC programming, Siemens TIA Portal programming, and Ethernet/IP network architecture. The successful candidate will collaborate with Electrical Engineering resources, contribute to cost and resource estimates, and execute software quality processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field
• 5 years of work experience in the material handling or a related industry
• Experience with Rockwell Automation PLC programming (including GuardLogix)
• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal programming (including Starter)
• Experience with Ethernet/IP network architecture
• Experience interpreting electrical schematics and HMI programming
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with project management, engineering teams, installation crews, and external partners
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 40% annually
