Job Description
The Caregiver provides personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living, providing meals, and maintaining a clean environment. They adhere to organizational and regulatory requirements, prioritize resident safety, and maintain accurate documentation. This role is key within the care team and does not involve direct supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
- High School education, plus: Six months of experience as a personal aide, Caregiver or equivalent life experience
- Certification of CNA or MA completion (preferred)
- Reliability and Flexibility in Scheduling
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Energy and Professionalism
- Knowledge of State Regulations and adherence to DHS requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of and compliance with building regulations
- Knowledge of and compliance with OSHA, Workers’ Compensation and other reporting requirements
