Job Description
The Caregiver provides personal care and support to residents, including meal service, activities, and cleaning, in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. This position requires adherence to a Resident Care Plan, ensuring resident safety and health, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The role is primarily independent but may involve supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- High School education, plus: Six months of experience as a personal aide, Caregiver or equivalent life experience
- Certification of CNA or MA completion (preferred)
- Reliability and Flexibility in Scheduling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Efficient organizational skills
- Energy and Professionalism
- Knowledge of state regulations
- Knowledge of OSHA, Workers’ Compensation, and DHS 83/89
- Knowledge of fair housing standards
