The EHS Technician reports to the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager and works closely with other EHS team members to assess company needs, review and analyze information, and coordinate initiatives for regulatory, workers compensation, environmental compliance, ESG and works within the Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS).
Requirements
- Associate degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or 3-5 years of related industrial safety field experience
- Bilingual fluid exchange between English and Spanish preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Excel with the capacity to use functions, features, formulas, and macros
- Certified in Standard First Aid, CPR/AED - Adult certification and Bloodborne Pathogens Training: PDT
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and develop a professional rapport with employees, management, and medical legal specialists
- Able to think clearly and react effectively in medical emergency situations
