The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Assistant is responsible for supporting and executing assigned components of site EHS programs, maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and providing day-to-day EHS support at the site level.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in environmental health and safety (EHS), related field, or high school diploma with 2+ years of relevant manufacturing, pilot plant, or industrial experience
- Basic working knowledge of workplace safety procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements
- Experience supporting EHS activities such as inspections, audits, training coordination, documentation, or corrective action tracking
- Ability to follow established procedures and work under the direction of EHS leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn EHS-specific systems
