Powerhouse Operator I

The Powerhouse Operator I is responsible for the safe, efficient and reliable maintenance and monitoring of steam generating boilers and related equipment, hot water systems, ammonia refrigeration compressors and related equipment, compressed air equipment, plant vacuum pumps and fire alarm system.

Requirements

• Utility log rounds and meter readings.
• Operation of Boilers, Ammonia system, Water system, and Compressed air system.
• Facility repairs and maintenance including doors, drains, exhaust fans etc. and PM’s.
• Required to be a HAZWOPER team member.
• Maintain good Housekeeping without direction.
• General Plumbing skills, including PVC, black iron, copper and stainless steel.
• Assist with energy savings and plant improvements.
