Job Description
Provide exceptional customer service, provide direct patient intervention, and demonstrate company core values. Maintain departmental standards, count, measure and prepare specified product, and assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist’s professional judgement.
Requirements
- Comply with local, state and federal regulations
- Comply with and reinforce all food safety, sanitation and safety regulations/guidelines/procedures
- Understand and perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers
- Maintain departmental standards
- Count, measure and prepare specified product
- Complete billing procedures
- Answer phone and triage calls
- Understand and adhere to guidelines on accepting and tendering vendor coupons
- Operate the cash register and follow all cashier handling policies
- Provide a stellar customer experience
- Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities
- Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations
