Manager, Assistant PMO

The Assistant Manager role at Kubota is responsible for leading cross-functional IT project teams and managing end-to-end project delivery. The position involves working closely with business users to define needs, establish objectives and milestones, and oversee quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Develop and maintain project work plans
• Lead, create, manage and maintain all aspects of project management
• Ensure timely and quality development of all deliverables
• Assess projects and eliminate or minimize scope creep
• Follow consistent methodology to track and maintain future enhancements
• Record important decisions made in meetings and manage communication for delivery
• Support OpEx and CapEx, IT vendors, RFPs, equipment allocations, leases, contractor agreements/invoices
• Coordinate vendor approval process, contracts and controls
• Help other IT team members with project load
• Manage and distribute correspondence and reports for management
• Create presentations and reports for senior management
• Accept, interpret and implement project direction from Manager or Director
• Partner with key business users to derive project needs
• Help Quality Control PMO policies and procedures
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements on PMO and IS toolset usage
• Conduct administrative work such as purchase orders, calendar facilitation, invoices and auditing expense reports
