The Maintenance Technician troubleshoots and repairs mechanical & electrical issues, performs preventative maintenance procedures, and implements Continuous Improvement Actions. The role leads other Technicians and contractors in machine setup, troubleshooting, and repairs, and trains operators on basic maintenance skills.
Requirements
- Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic & power transmissions systems
- Welding processes (MIG/TIG)
- Reading electrical schematics and hardwiring to prints
- Troubleshooting electrical systems via electrical test equipment
- Planning and installing electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
- Interface PCs to PLC controllers for troubleshooting equipment
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC License is preferred)
- Familiarity with facility systems
- Operating machine tools
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work order tracking and closure
- Train operators to perform autonomous maintenance tasks
