We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all mechanical and electrical maintenance projects in our manufacturing facility.
Requirements
- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, motors, transformers, and power distribution equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in high and low voltage systems, PLCs, VFDs, and automated production equipment.
- Support startup and commissioning of new equipment from a controls perspective by verifying functionality in coordination with other operations and engineering team members.
- Program, test, and validate proper alarms, annunciation, safety interlock behaviors, redundancy fail-over strategies and other plant safety and downtime avoidance techniques aimed at maximizing safety while increasing uptime and preventing damage to expensive machinery.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal electrical codes, as well as company safety policies.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support facility upgrades and new equipment installations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and electrical documentation (e.g., schematics, single-line diagrams).
- Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and equipment.
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in shutdown planning and execution.
- Plan and oversee all PM's throughout all operations.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance staff including Electricians and Maintenance Technicians.
- Train and mentor electrical and mechanical technicians to ensure technical competence and safety awareness.
