Job Description
The ISRS - Social Worker Adult Services position provides a range of supports to adults with mental health and/or substance use needs, with a specialized focus on supporting individuals experiencing homelessness. The Social Worker will assist clients with environmental and supportive services, conduct individual or family assessments, provide agency services, and refer clients for other community services.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Work (or any related college degree such as Sociology, Psychology or Criminal Justice)
- Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use, and familiarity with community resources available to them
- Basic computer keyboarding skills for entering data related to clients
- Valid driver's license and access to personal transportation, or other reliable means for city and rural travel
- Certification by the State of Wisconsin as a Social Worker
- Experience working with a variety of funding sources
