Clinical Laboratory Technologist

LabCorp is seeking a Clinical Lab Professional to join their team at Henry Ford Warren Hospital in Warren, MI. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, and 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience. They will be responsible for determining the acceptability of specimens, performing routine and complex technical procedures, and reporting accurate and timely test results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology
• 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience
• ASCP or AMT certification
• Non-traditional degrees with applicable science credits that meet CLIA standards
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems
• Proficient with computers
• High level of attention detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
