Laboratory Specimen Processor

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor to join their team in Birmingham, AL. The position involves preparing laboratory specimens for analysis and testing, and meeting department activity and production goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience
• Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to work in a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around times
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
