Role Overview

Join Labcorp in Edison, NJ as a Specimen Accessioner to prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing. Work in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment with a team to ensure the accuracy of millions of healthcare tests.

What You Will Do

Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing, unpack and route specimens, accurately identify and label specimens, pack and ship specimens, meet department activity and production goals, and resolve and document problem specimens.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing or warehouse environment
• 1 year or more experience in medical or production experience
• Comfortable handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Experience working in a team environment
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office
• Able to lift up to 40lbs
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
