We are currently looking for a Protection and Control Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in protection and control system design, cost estimating, and bidding document preparation for commercial, industrial, generation and renewables. Typical system voltage levels range from 138 kV to 2.4kV.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- 5 or more years of experience in protection and control system design, cost estimating, and bidding document preparation for electrical transmission and distribution substations projects
- PE license from a US State (desired but not required)
- Successful track record designing Protection and Control Systems
- Knowledge of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), NERC, NEC, NESC, NEMA, and ANSI standards
- Experience with telecommunications, protective relaying, and automation (SCADA)
- Interest in low voltage coordination and arc flash studies
- Familiarity with Schweitzer Engineering, General Electric and Basler equipment
