Job Description
The Protestant Contemporary Worship Music Director leads and coordinates music for the Protestant Contemporary Worship Service, supporting the spiritual needs and religious freedom of service members and their families.
Requirements
- Lead music for weekly Sunday services and special events
- Select and distribute worship music in coordination with the Senior Protestant Chaplain
- Conduct weekly rehearsals (separate from service day)
- Recruit, develop, and lead volunteer musicians and vocalists
- Provide strong vocal leadership; instrumental ability (piano or guitar) preferred
- Operate worship sound and projection systems (e.g., CCLI SongSelect or equivalent)
- Assist with equipment setup/teardown
- Maintain compliance with DoD, Air Force, and chapel policies
