The Ramstein Gospel Music Director / Accompanist will provide musical leadership for the Ramstein Gospel Service, including instrumental accompaniment, vocal leadership, and music program management.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of college-level coursework in music or a related field, or equivalent years of relevant experience in a chapel or church music setting
- A minimum of 3 years of experience playing keyboard and guitar in a Protestant Gospel or traditional worship environment
- Ability to sight-read, arrange, improvise, play, and score music appropriate for Gospel worship services
- Ability to sing and vocally lead congregational and choral music in accordance with Gospel worship norms
- Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting vocal and instrumental scores, chord charts, and lead sheets appropriate for Gospel music and traditional hymns
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the assigned Gospel Service Chaplain and Chapel leadership
- Knowledge of and compliance with all applicable copyright laws related to religious music and published materials
