Job Description
Licensed Mental Health Counselor-LPHA position responsible for assessments, diagnosis, recovery planning, and provision of treatment and crisis services. Requires a Master's degree, licensure, and experience in mental health. Must demonstrate multicultural sensitivity and effective communication skills.
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in counseling, social work, psychology or other qualified social, behavioral or human services field
- Licensure in one of the following: LPHA, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Ph.D
- Valid Texas driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Personal automobile liability insurance as required by the state of Texas
- Knowledgeable of psychotropic medications and DSM V
- Working computer skills including MS Word and bilingual skills (English/Spanish), preferred
