Lakes Regional Community Center serves 15 counties in Northeast Texas as the primary provider of mental health, intellectual and developmental disability (IDD), and substance use disorder services. As the designated IDD authority for 12 counties and the mental health authority for seven, the organization also administers TCOOMMI parole and continuity programs in key counties. Its multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, counselors, and nurses delivers psychiatric medication management, counseling, and community‑based supports—including day programs, supported employment, and crisis respite—to children, adolescents, and adults. Job Description
Provides harmonious coordination of services with other LRCC departments and outside service providers for caseload assigned. Performs documentation and communication with external and internal customers. May provide training in the home or in the community to assist individual's with developmental disabilities to gain more independence.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience
- Valid Texas driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Personal automobile liability insurance
- Proficient written and verbal skills
- Ability to supervise the work of others
- Ability to work in an environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to assess and coordinate individual needs and follow up as needed
