Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Technical Artist to join our game development team. The role of a Technical Artist is to bridge the gap between the art team and the development team, ensuring visually stunning and technically optimized game assets for the game engine.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience as a Technical Artist in the game industry.
- Strong experience with Unreal Engine and Unity materials, Blueprints/C#, profiling tools, asset integration, and level art creation.
- Good understanding of PBR workflows, UV unwrapping, baking, and procedural material creation.
- Ability to create and modify real-time shaders (UE Material Editor, Unity Shader Graph, HLSL basics) to achieve desired visual and post-processing effects.
- Proficiency in Maya/Max/Blender and scripting for pipeline automation (Python,Mel,C# preferred).
- Proficiency with Substance Designer/Painter and procedural texture workflows.
- Experience with real-time performance optimization in game engines.
- Experience with version control systems such as Perforce, Git, or Plastic SCM.
