The Warehouse Technician role will be able to transport, capture, and record all finished product, bulk product, materials, oil, and ingredients; monitor product quality, and waste streams; actively identify and solve problems which affect safety, quality, and production costs; working with the Warehouse Lead, Team Leaders, and Line Structure Teams safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Follows all plant safety policies and procedures.
- Completes daily safety/maintenance check forklift, record and report any malfunction.
- Operates cohesively with additional Warehouse Technician team members in management of the Warehouse area;
- Ensures that packaging maintains adequate amounts of materials for daily operations and removes and replaces all waste bins.
- Observes and reports any quality issues with finished product;
- Stores product in proper location in freezer, restacking, sorting, and organizing the freezer to maintain a neat, orderly appearance, accurate inventory, even designated bin height, and location of product.
- Unloads oil by truck or rail, ensuring that all necessary documentation is properly filled out and maintained.
- Performs all duties associated with the startup and shutdown of manifest after each shift to ensure proper and accurate documentation of product manifested per shift.
- Completes all forms in accurate, timely and legible manner and can identify cases, labels, cuts, colors, catalog numbers, day codes and acceptable case conditions.
