Traveling General Handyman

Lane Valente Industries is a leading international construction and facility maintenance company with offices throughout the U.S. and Canada, seeking a Traveling General Handyman to travel for full-time commercial construction projects across the United States.

Requirements

• Proficiency in carpentry, including partition framing, metal/wood studs, cabinetry/countertops, doors/window installation
• Proficiency in painting, including interior & exterior work
• Proficiency in flooring, including VCT, LVT, tile, carpet squares, and cove base installation
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, including sink, faucet, toilet, and drainage installation
• Basic knowledge of electrical work, including light fixtures, switches, outlets, and data connections
• Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration
• Commercial renovations/buildouts experience
• Basic computer skills
• OSHA certification
• Presentable and able to communicate with customers
• Ability to document repairs, including measurements, pictures, and recommendations
• Ability to work overtime and on-call
