Traveling General Handyman

Lane Valente Industries is a leading international construction and facility maintenance company with offices throughout the U.S. and Canada. We are looking for a traveling general handyman for full-time commercial construction projects across the United States.

Requirements

• Proficient in carpentry, including partition framing, metal/wood studs, installation of basic cabinetry/countertops, and doors/window installation.
• Proficient in painting, including interior and exterior painting.
• Proficient in flooring installation, including VCT, LVT, tile, carpet squares, and cove base.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, including replacement/installation of sinks, faucets, toilets, and basic drainage and water lines.
• Basic knowledge of electrical work, including replacement installation of light fixtures, switches, and outlets, and basic data connections.
• Knowledge of HVAC, including refrigeration.
• Commercial renovations/buildouts experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow OSHA requirements.
• Presentable and ability to communicate with customers to build relationships.
• Ability to work overtime and/or on-call as workload and emergency issues dictate.
• Willing and able to travel and work overnight shifts throughout the United States when needed.
