Job Description
Langham Hospitality Group is looking for a talented Application Engineer to build AI solutions that transform guest engagement. The role involves developing, testing, and deploying AI-powered applications, collaborating with the LHG AI Cadre, and documenting code and processes.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software development
- 1-2 years of experience building applications that leverage AI/ML APIs (especially LLMs)
- Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript
- Experience with API frameworks (FastAPI, Flask) and front-end integration
- Practical experience with prompt engineering, LangChain, and calling APIs from services like OpenAI, Anthropic, or cloud providers
- Experience working with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and basic data processing
