Outside Sales Trainee

Lansing Building Products has supplied professional contractors with high-quality building products since its founding in 1955. We are seeking a motivated and driven individual for our Outside Sales Trainee program, which lasts 8-12 months and focuses on developing future Outside Sales Representatives and leaders for our company.

Requirements

• Must be open to future relocation as part of this program
• Demonstrated interest in sales, based on previous jobs or on academic preparation
• High energy, self-motivated, and hungry for success
• All-around business professional with exceptional telephone etiquette
• Willing to go the "extra mile" to provide a high level of customer service
• Must be able to work well individually and on a team
• Strong communication and social skills
• Ability to build quick rapport and develop long-term relationships with customers
• Committed to setting and achieving goals
• College degree (preferred, but not required)
