Job Description
The Lansing School District, a diverse urban community, seeks a Specialized Assistant to support students with disabilities in the ASD Resource Room. This role involves building relationships with students and families, supporting teachers in engaged learning, and assisting with IEP implementation. Requirements
- Associate's Degree
- 60 completed college credits
- Proof of passing the ETS Paraprofessional Exam
- Prior experience working with students in small group and RTI settings (Preferred)
- Understanding of how to read and understand a student's IEP (Preferred)
- Desire to become a certified teacher long term (Preferred)
