Job Description
The Lansing School District is seeking a Specialized Assistant Resource Room to support students with disabilities and ensure a safe learning environment. This role involves building relationships with students and families, assisting teachers with lessons, and supporting the ASD Resource Room at Cumberland. It requires a passion for working with diverse student populations and a commitment to fostering a positive school culture.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree
- 60 completed college credits
- Proof of passing the ETS Paraprofessional Exam
- Prior experience working with students in small group settings and/or RTI settings
- Understanding of how to read and understand a student's IEP
- Desire to become a certified teacher long term
