Job Description
The Finance and Accounting Intern will support the Finance team in executing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring transactions are processed accurately, documentations are complete, and records are properly maintained in line with Last Mile Health policies and donor requirements. This role offers hands-on exposure to nonprofit financial management.
Requirements
- Recently completed a degree in Business Administration, or a related field
- Familiarity with financial and accounting principles
- Basic understanding of financial reporting
- Ability to work in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
