Asset & Wealth Management - Software Engineer - Vice President - Dallas

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Senior Digital Software Engineer to drive the design of critical components in the technology stack and oversee the implementation of new features, focusing on code quality, automation, and testability.

Requirements

• Experience with Java, JavaScript, and Spring Boot
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7+ years of combined experience in an engineering capacity
• 4+ years in a system architecture role with responsibilities including tool selection, design decisions, performance optimization, risk mitigation, and team development
• Experience with microservices architecture and API development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong creative leader who is self-motivated with an analytical mindset and ability to multi-task and solve complex technical problems
• Client and product-focused mindset with experience collaborating with product and/or business managers to propose products and their associated features
• Strong proficiency in: Distributed systems, Low-latency services, NoSQL and relational databases
