Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer will serve as a "hands-on" team member dedicated to the assembly of lithium ion and lithium metal batteries. Responsibilities include designing and implementing tools and processes, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, training technicians, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with product design decisions.
Requirements
- B.S. in Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology required.
- 2 years minimum experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with tool design (SolidWorks preferred), process parameter development, machining equipment operation, and laser welding highly desired.
- Ability to interact with various departments and good verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative thinking, self-motivating, problem solving skills, and a desire to remain current with emerging technologies.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and proficiency in the use of hand tools.
