Frontend Engineer, Guarded Releases

LaunchDarkly is looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to play a key role in shaping the future of software delivery on the Guarded Releases team. The team is focused on making every release safer, faster, and more reliable, automating release processes, measuring the real-time impact of feature rollouts, and simplifying debugging when things go wrong.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on frontend development
• Proficiency with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling, such as React
• Experience building data-focused products such as experimentation platforms, analytics dashboards, or large-scale data visualizations
• Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Experience working directly with customers and understands how their work impacts business goals
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering impactful solutions
• Proven ability to work closely and collaborate with cross-functional partners
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, well-documented, and testable code with a focus on maintainability and extensibility
• Strong understanding of observability and monitoring tools and practices
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and self-directed approach to work
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience working with distributed teams
