Job Description
Senior SEND EHCP Officer role to lead complex casework, influence practice, and shape better outcomes for children with SEND. The successful candidate will manage a caseload, provide guidance and support to colleagues, and contribute to service improvement.
Requirements
- Strong experience working with children, young people and families - ideally within SEND
- Deep understanding of SEND legislation, the Children and Families Act 2014, the SEND Code of Practice and safeguarding responsibilities
- Confident managing complexity, analysing professional advice, making balanced judgements and producing clear, detailed EHCPs and reports
- Effective communication and influencing skills
- Ability to support colleagues, share knowledge and promote best practice
