Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SEND or commissioning leader to lead the Access to Resources Team, providing strategic and operational leadership for placement finding, contract monitoring and market intelligence. The successful candidate will shape a resilient provider market that supports statutory delivery and long-term sustainability.
Requirements
- Significant leadership experience within SEND, education, commissioning or Childrenâs Services
- Strong understanding of the SEND legal framework, including the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice
- Ability to manage complex, high-risk and high-cost provision and working with external providers within financial, governance and regulatory frameworks
- Leadership skills, sound judgement and the confidence to operate in high-pressure environments
- Ability to communicate clearly, influence effectively and work collaboratively across organisational boundaries
