Job Description
The Family Services Specialist II position is responsible for developing and implementing individualized service plans, interpreting laws and policies, and coordinating services in various program areas. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field and two years of experience in a related field.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of social work principles and practices, human behavior and motivational theory, and laws and regulations relating to human services program areas
- Skill in operating a motor vehicle and personal computer with associated software
- Ability to communicate effectively, interview, assess needs, counsel and refer clients, and develop and implement service plans
