Job Description
Lear is seeking a Plant Maintenance Manager to lead the Engineering & Maintenance team in Farwell, MI. The role involves coordinating and directing maintenance staff, overseeing scheduling, and managing internal and external resources to install new equipment and execute plant upgrades.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in technical discipline
- Five years related experience and/or training
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment: Hydraulics, pumps, fluid processing, 480 VAC motors and distribution, electrical controls, robots)
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and reliability methods
- Experience with plant floor operations, TPM, and maintenance management
- PLC ladder logic familiarity (Rockwell RSLogix family, Siemens Step7 and TIA)
- CAD familiarity (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
