Job Description
Arizona Early Head Start is seeking a Head Start Lead Teacher to provide early education for children birth to 3-years-old, parent involvement and family support, and comprehensive health and nutrition education. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for planning, assessing, and instructing based on the needs of each child and the requirements of the program.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or CDA in Infant/Toddler
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans
- Ability to meet state requirements for education and childcare center requirements
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
