Job Description
The VPK Lead Teacher is responsible for planning, assessing, and instructing 4-year olds in the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program. Responsibilities include creating learning experiences, promoting child growth, and implementing curriculum while mentoring fellow Teachers and communicating with families.
Requirements
- CDA, Associates degree or higher in education or Florida Child Care Professional Certificate
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans
- Ability to meet state requirements for education and childcare center requirements
