OSP Designer

You are an experienced Outside Plant (OSP) Designer, responsible for detailed design of OSP elements and fiber designs of telecommunication networks. You'll be an integral part of the engineering team and will design networks using a variety of tools, including AutoCAD and SpatialNET.

Requirements

• Design new civil telecom infrastructure on both private and public property
• Collaborate with various authorities for approval
• Maintain knowledge of current OSP design principles and industry standards
• Perform system design, create BOM and provide construction quotes for requested projects
• Collaborate with team members from other divisions to overcome project challenges and issues
• Perform quality control and effectively monitor plans for constructability review
• Follow company standards and procedures related to Health & Safety while performing assigned job duties
• Ensure scheduled deadlines are adhered to and project deliverables are maintained
• Visit job sites on a regular basis to ensure specifications and client requirements are being met
