Loan Officer

Legacy Mutual Mortgage is a full service residential mortgage lender looking for highly motivated loan officers to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a business-related field, at least 3 years of experience as a mortgage loan officer, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a mortgage loan officer or comparable experience originating loans.
• Must be eligible for NMLS registration and licensing.
• Must have analytical ability to evaluate credit applications and to make fair and impartial decisions.
• Must have working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to mortgage lending.
• Must have experience and strong, proficient computer skills in programs such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and data processing software.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to perform in a high-volume environment.
• Must have a positive attitude.
• Must be dependable, self-motivated and require minimal supervision.
