Financial Accountant (Statutory & Technical Reporting)

Legend is hiring a Financial Accountant to support the accurate, clear and timely reporting of financial performance to internal and external stakeholders. The role offers strong visibility, tangible impact and the opportunity to deepen expertise in statutory reporting, audit and technical accounting within a multinational US-listed group.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant, such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA.
• 3–5 years' experience in an accounting environment, ideally with exposure to statutory reporting, audit or technical accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting principles, including IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Experience preparing or supporting financial statements, working papers, reconciliations or statutory outputs.
• High attention to detail, with a meticulous approach to compliance documentation and audit support.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate inconsistencies, resolve issues and assess reporting risks.
• Confidence using Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems.
• A strong desire to build expertise in technical accounting and financial reporting.
• Ability to work effectively with auditors, technical accounting teams and cross-functional finance stakeholders.
• Exposure to M&A activity or post-acquisition integration would be advantageous but is not essential.
