Job Description
Leggett & Platt is seeking a Maintenance/Facilities Manager to improve and optimize manufacturing facility availability through Total Preventive Maintenance. The successful candidate will have experience in people management, high volume manufacturing, and mechanical and electrical equipment.
Requirements
- Trained Technician or bachelor's degree in technical studies, Facility Management, Engineering, or the like.
- Automotive Experience Preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years related experience in Maintenance and Facility Management
- Experience in people management
- 2-3 years of experience in high volume manufacturing environment
- Mechanical and electrical experience with related equipment
- Knowledge of TPM systems
- Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and implementation of maintenance plans
- Hands-on mentality and ability to coordinate between multiple assignments.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Maintenance software
- Knowledge of legal requirements for building and equipment
- Analytical and structured working style
- Very good problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
