Library Assistant

We are seeking a Library Assistant to work as part of a team responsible for providing a high quality, welcoming, and efficient library service to all customers. As a Library Services Assistant, you will support library users to find the information and resources they need, assist them to use IT systems, shelve and display books and other materials, and deliver library events such as IT tasters and sessions for under 5’s.

Requirements

• Interest in reading, learning and culture
• Experience of and interest in digital technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
