Network Security Operations Specialist

Leidos is seeking a Network Security Operations Specialist to join a mission-critical network operations program. In this role, you'll provide advanced systems support, guide operators, and collaborate with engineering teams to keep mission systems secure, stable, and optimized.

Requirements

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
• Current DoD 8140-compliant security certification (IAT/IAM Level III equivalent)
• Ability to obtain required computing environment certification within 6 months
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and system patching
• Experience with RHEL 9 administration and patching
• Proficiency with PowerShell and BASH scripting
• Strong troubleshooting skills across systems and networks
• Familiarity with syslog and Windows Event Viewer
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to support complex technical environments
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor personnel in technical and operational domains
