TRANSPORT / IP (TRIP) NOC TECHNICIAN

Our customer is the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and acts as the provider of GIG/Defense Information System Network (DISN) services to its customers, the department of Defense (DoD) and national security organizations. This position directly supports the DISA-provided GIG capabilities and services in the 24x7 DISA Global Operations Center (DGOC).

Requirements

• Create, update, and monitor incident tickets using ServiceNow/ ITSM
• Monitor network events and element management failures 24/7/365
• Notify relevant contacts based on network incidents and coordinate with other service providers to track and restore service
• Restore networks and services to full operation, ensuring compliance with SLAs
• Demonstrate proficiency in DISN functions (routers, switches, crypto devices, etc.)
• Maintain general knowledge of training, SOPs, and tools within O&M
