Leonardo is looking for an Avionics System Engineer to join their team in Nerviano, Italy. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or Telecommunications, and experience in embedded systems, electronic circuit design, and programming languages such as C, Python, and ADA.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or Telecommunications.
• Junior level.
• Skills and technical knowledge:
• - Skills in embedded systems
• - Knowledge of main communication buses (avionics, automotive, commercial)
• - Electronic circuit design competence
• - Knowledge of commonly used tools in an electronics laboratory
• - Knowledge of programming languages (C, Python, ADA) and real-time operating systems (RTOS) preferably
• - Experiences in HW/SW design and knowledge of related development processes
• - Familiarity with avionics architectures
• - Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• A plus: knowledge of DO254/178C processes, international experiences resulting from previous work experiences, experience in system engineering, willingness to work on classified programs.
