Manager Software Engineering

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Manager Software Engineering for its ThreatMetrix division in Sweden. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers in building high-scale, low-latency systems for fraud prevention and behavioral biometrics.

Requirements

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers specializing in behavioral biometrics and device intelligence.
• Define the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for backend and frontend systems aligned with the company's product goals and customer needs.
• Promote adherence to industry standards for fraud prevention, behavioral biometrics, GDPR compliance, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
• Hire and onboard engineers aligned with the team's culture.
• Foster psychological safety, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with senior engineers on architecture and prioritization.
• Maintain high standards for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support work across backend services, data management and research activities.
• Remove delivery blockers and manage cross-team dependencies.
• Support incident response and operational maturity.
• Work effectively across distributed teams and time zones.
• Collaborate with Product, Support, and Professional services.
