Job Description
LGC Standards is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to drive growth, build relationships, and make an impact in the pharma, biotech, environmental, and industrial sectors. The successful candidate will have a scientific background, sales experience, and excellent communication skills in German and English. The role involves managing transactional accounts, identifying and closing new sales opportunities, and ensuring outstanding customer support.
Requirements
- Scientific background in Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Environmental Science, Industrial Science, or Chemistry
- Proven track record in selling technical products for research or analytical laboratories
- Ability to develop new business while maintaining strong client relationships
- Fluent German skills (C1/C2 level or higher) and English (C1/C2 level or higher)
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced, commercial environment
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams
